Two Fat Robins

I look out the window

And see, to my delight

Two fat robins

Hopping and dancing

In the snow

 

And I think

I hear them say

Do not despair,

My dear

Spring is on the way

A Traveler’s Heart

It’s a good thing

For a traveler

To have

A big heart

Because

We may

Leave

A piece of

Our heart

In a

Small school

In Tanzania

Or in an

Orphanage

Or

Hospice

In

South Africa

But the

Funny thing

Is

That

As we leave

These pieces

Behind

Our heart

Actually seems

To grow

So much

Bigger
